About Me

I am an Economist at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to joining the Division, I received my PhD in Economics from Emory University (Spring 2022). My dissertation research explores the effects of information disclosure in hospital markets by assessing the relationship between online reviews and hospital prices, demand, and incentives to invest in patient satisfaction. While I continue to be curious about the economic forces at play in hospital markets, my work at the Division has provided the opportunity to explore important economic questions across a variety of industries, including, but not limited to, health care.

Before starting graduate school, I received a B.S. in Economics and Mathematical Finance from Seton Hall University in May 2015. In the following two years, I worked for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as an Assistant National Bank Examiner before beginning my graduate studies.
